Is MetalBrief financial advice?

No. MetalBrief is an informational dashboard and research workflow. It does not know your goals, taxes, custody arrangements, account type, risk tolerance, or transaction constraints.

Why can a dealer price differ from spot?

Retail bullion prices include premiums, fabrication, inventory, payment method, shipping, insurance, taxes, and dealer spread. A dealer buyback bid can also be materially below the retail ask.

Where is my portfolio data stored?

Portfolio rows and alerts are stored locally in your browser unless you choose a feature that uploads or syncs data. Clearing browser storage can remove local rows.

Why does source labeling matter?

Metals data can differ by provider, timestamp, unit, currency, and fallback state. Source labels help you decide whether the displayed data is fresh enough for the decision in front of you.

Do affiliate links change the calculations?

No. Partner links may earn commissions, but calculations and disclosure language should not change based on the commission status of a destination.
